Camera-controlled fruit slicing: get ready for your first game
From positioning your phone to your first slice: set up a play space that tracks your hand comfortably and get used to camera controls.

How does your finger control the game?
Ninja King Adventures is a fruit-slicing game that tracks hand gestures using your Android phone's front camera. Tap buttons in the menus to choose a world and start playing. In the game scene, move your index finger through the air. Passing your finger's trail across flying fruit makes the slice; you don't need to drag each object with your finger on the screen.
Your first attempt doesn't have to be about a high score. First, notice the connection between your hand and the slicing trail on screen. Move your finger slowly right, left and upward, and watch how the trail changes. This small test before reaching for fruit also tells you whether your phone is in a comfortable position.
Adjust your phone and lighting together
Hold your phone comfortably in one hand or place it somewhere stable where it won't fall, keeping the front camera clear. Your other hand should fit entirely in the frame. Too close, and your fingertips or wrist may leave the picture; too far, and your hand may be harder to recognize. Rather than looking for a fixed distance in centimeters, use the game's hand tracking window to adjust your position.
Choose lighting that illuminates your hand as evenly as possible. A bright window or lamp directly behind you can leave your hand in shadow. Move the light or change the phone angle and check again. A smudge on the camera lens can also affect the image. If the slicing trail breaks up, check the framing and light before making larger movements.
Camera permission and the opening tutorial
The app requests camera permission for hand tracking. If it is off, open the app's permissions in Android settings and check camera access. Menu names may vary by phone. This website does not request camera permission; you can learn about the game and read the guides here. The gesture-controlled gameplay takes place in the Android app.
The first-game tutorial explains showing your index finger and the special gestures in order. Follow the on-screen instruction at each step. Before moving to another gesture, make sure your entire hand is being tracked. Instead of trying to memorize all the powers immediately, move to the next step once normal slicing feels comfortable.
Try short, controlled slices in your first round
As a fruit rises, guide your index finger's trail across it. You don't need to swing your whole arm at every target; start with comfortable, controlled movements. When a bomb appears among the fruit, choose your slicing path carefully. Slicing a bomb costs a life. In normal rounds, missed fruit can also cost a life and end your combo streak.
If tracking is lost, bring your hand back into the camera's view. Look at the tracking window first, then the slicing trail. Starting again in the same position is easier to understand than suddenly moving to another corner of the screen. After a few rounds, try changing only the light, distance or phone angle at a time to see which helps.
Where is camera footage processed?
Camera footage and hand landmarks are processed on your phone; no photos or videos are recorded, and footage is not sent over the internet. This explanation concerns camera image processing. You can also read the privacy policy for technical data advertising services may process. Once you've learned the controls, the combos and special powers guide is a good next step for improving your decisions during a round.
